Fact: I’m obsessed with Essie Button on YouTube.

She recently did the British Tag on her channel (you can watch it below) so I thought I’d do it to on the blog.

1. How many cups of tea do you have a day? + How many sugars?

I used to drink no less than 3 cups a day (once in the morning, twice in the afternoon). Now I drink about two cups of decaf coffee during the week (primarily in the mornings) and a cup or two of tea on the weekend.

Half and half with demerara sugar please.

2. Favourite part of your roast

Roasted potatoes fo’ sho.

3. Favourite dunking biscuit

Spekulatius (is actually a German spiced biscuit but I love them!)

Also, custard creams…(aren’t custard like American’s think custard…I actually hate creamy custard)

4. Favourite quintessentially British pastime?

Drinking tea and taking walks!

5. Favourite word?

Aluminium, aubergine, oregano…are my favorite to say.

6. Cockney rhyme slang?

Apples and pears is the one I heard the most.

7. Favourite sweet

8. What would your pub be called?

I’m not exactly sure but I love traditional names like “The Red Lion,” “The Fox & Hound,” and “The Prancing Pony.”

9. No.1 British person

Kate Middleton. Churchill. The Queen. Margaret Thatcher.

10. Favourite shop / restaurant

Primark and top shop. Although when I lived there I frequented Aldi, Pound Stretcher, and Boots A LOT.

11. What british song pops into your head?

All spice girls. All the time.
