The other day ago at the Hallmark store I saw an apology card. I joked to V that I wanted to get in a fight with someone just so I could send them that card because the sentiment was so sweet.

On the other side of an argument, the second thing I felt (after anger) was sadness. I never like feeling bad around people who normally always make you feel good.

Dually, this morning I saw this video from Becky Sheeran in which she talks about the passing of her father a few days ago. Not gonna lie, I sat at my desk at work and cried big tears. She stressed the importance of the thing we already know: tell the people you love that you love them and tell them often.

So today’s lesson:

Say you’re sorry. Arguments always go two ways. And no one should walk away with hurt feelings.

Then say I love you. Because you can never say it enough to the people who truly matter.
