I measure my weekends, as most psychopaths do, in terms of productivity. How much did I read? Did I work on business stuff? Was I sucessful at blocking out distractions? Did I need to sleep or eat?

This scale was applicable to a quarter of the weekend. I did get a pretty chunk of work done overnight Friday into Saturday. I caught up on the news. I worked on the websites. (Made possible by the fact that I’d gotten really sick after lunch on Friday and didn’t eat again until Saturday night).

And then a new scale was established, measured by my ability to basically function and not make a fool of myself.

On a scale of 1 to 10?

I was 0% successful.

In fact, I think it was closer to -5%.

I owe the weekend.

But maybe weekends aren’t always built for utility? Maybe they’re just meant to be fun.

Hm.

Revolutionary thinking.

As a side note, I haven’t been sleeping well during the week…again. My head is an animal sometimes.
